My Testimonials

"I approached Jharna hoping to get an evaluation of my abilities regarding the intercultural aspects of my job as a relocation consultant. After three meetings with her I walked away with much more than that. Jharna´s perception goes far beyond the situation at hand and she connected my professional and personal aspects enriching both simultaneously. Her friendly and open manner are easy to relate to and working together has been a real pleasure. Thank you Jharna, I hope to be as helpful to my clients as you have been to me! - Ginnie (relocation consultant) Bs.As. April 2012"

"Jharna Gupta, Intercultural-trainer and Project Leader for our organisation Adea (association of diplomatic spouses of Argentina). Jharna has a background in Psychotherapy, Management, supervision, coaching, and training.

She is providing Intercultural training for many groups as a part of the team for professionals in various foreign assignments. Her knowledge of the subject with her background in psychology and coaching makes her a very interesting and an empathic trainer. She uses many different ways to interact with her audience and makes it relevant to a wide range of participants using case studies, games and role plays. Her trainings raise many questions and challenges audience to think beyond the obvious.

Some of the comments from the trainees include: "We went away with a lot more than our expectations". Other than learning more about ourselves, she also facilitates a cultural competence training to learn how to cope with our discrepancies and ways to bridge our gaps in meeting other cultural needs. There is a lot to learn from different cultures and through Jharna,s workshops we are growing and helping bridge those gaps.

She is articulate, loves to interact in groups and has a lot of enthusiasm and passion for her work.

"Having Jharna in our team helped us to increase our abilities to work in a cross-cultural and multilingual environment.

She had been able to spot critical issues regarding communication with different cultures and even within our group.

She works professionally and always committed to goals. She can easily understand where you are and is able to clearly define what needs to be done in order to bridge the gaps between your abilities and your expectations. She provides a set of tools that ensures success communicating to people from different cultures.

Jharna is a great time manager and an independent and self confident professional. She is flexible and has a positive attitude towards challenges.

She is the best advisor we could ever have.

"WE are a couple with very different cultures, upbringing and parenting. It made our parenting skills so different to the point of not being able to accept each other. We were at breaking point and were refered to Jharna by a common friend. It opened our eyes to know that none of us were perfect or right. That both of us had a good intention behind our parenting. We are still learning a lot and are grateful for the support. Thanks"

"I was struggling to adapt to Argentina and the culture even though i chose to come here aftre a wonderful trip last year. Living ehre seemed to be far more diffcult and i found it hard with the language. The university offered little support and i am happy that i found Jharna and her style worked for me. She seemed to understand and being a foreigner herself, i think she really brings her personal warmth to her work. I have tried other counsellors before, even in the US but this support has been very valuable. I have decided to stay on and complete my Masters. I feel i can work on building my strengths to cope with the diffculties. Thank you Jharna!"

"I learned a lot about my cultural adaptation skills by an assessment facilitated by Jharna called the COF. i found both my strengths and weaknesses. She explained it very clearly and non-judgementally how i could seek to balance my tendencies (cultural orientation) and how i can adapt better given my skills and the requirement of my job and working better with differences. It has been a month since i started applying some of my new skills and have already received great feedback both from my colleagues and boss. It seemed more challenging at first but now its getting easier. Thanks Jharna for broadening the way i can relate! and i feel a lot more personal and professional satisfaction."

"Jharna was a Domestic Violence counsellor who worked very hard to build the client group and facilitated excellent training for all staff and managers of the organisation around mental health and domestic violence. Her attitude was extremely professional and warm at the same time. She was always quick to learn and take on new projects and never feared taking positive risks at work. We still use her trainig package she developed.
Wish you all the best in Argentina!"

"I have had a very insightful experience of counselling via emails when i was at a loss. I could not find any help face to face and felt at ease when i found your service. It has been a year and i am still learning a lot. I felt comfortable and understood. Only 3 months of therapy halped deeply to resolve many of my problems that were bothering me."
